Understanding Healthcare Pricing
Healthcare pricing can be complex. The "standard charge" for a service is not necessarily what you will pay. Your actual out-of-pocket cost depends on:
- Your insurance plan and coverage
- Whether you have met your deductible
- Your copay and coinsurance amounts
- Whether providers are in-network
- Whether services are medically necessary as determined by your insurance
